About Cogges Manor Farm
Cogges Manor Farm is a special place with 1,000 years of history and 17 acres of space. It's the filming location for Downton Abbey's Yew Tree Farm and the perfect place to get married. Wedding ceremonies can take place in our beautiful 18th century barns, in the dining room of the historic Manor House or outside on the lawn. A barn wedding gives you access to both of our barns for 3 days, allowing you time to set up and take down decorations and the flexibility to use the space as you wish.
Cogges Manor Farm is located in Witney, in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, on the banks of the River Windrush. Witney is a pretty market town with choices of accommodation in walking distance or a short taxi ride away. Located just 12 miles from Oxford, between London (60 miles) & Cheltenham (30 miles), Cogges has ample car parking. Closest rail links at Hanborough & Charlbury.
At Cogges you have the freedom to create the wedding of your dreams. You can select your own suppliers, including caterer and bar, or we can recommend a choice of tried and tested options. You can create a beautiful countryside wedding, a luxe farm wedding, a relaxed rustic day, a festival vibe - or whatever your hearts desire! We can help with the addition of garden games for family fun, straw bales for seating around fire pits and festoon lighting in the evening.

Our Sustainability Commitments
Convenient for public transport, with plenty of accommodation options in walking distance. All our approved suppliers are local. Confetti must be fresh or dried flowers. Recycling facilities on site. Fireworks and Chinese lanterns are not permitted. Cogges is a non-smoking, non-vaping site at all times. (After 5pm, smokers/vapers may step outside the farm gates). Micro-wedding ceremonies are also available in the Manor House, for up to 30 guests. Daytime only, with optional champagne toast and afternoon tea. and full use of our 17 acres for your photographs, including walled garden, orchard, woodland and meadows.
