About The Chilterns View
In the beautiful Oxfordshire Chilterns set within the countryside at Ewelme Down Farm, The Chilterns View brings together open land, accommodation and facilities for couples who want to plan their own event. The venue is offered as a whole-site hire, giving couples control over how the day is arranged on the extensive lawn, clubhouse patio and surrounding fields.
Accommodation is integrated into the layout with five lodges and one large safari tent. The lodges each sleep two people in a king-size bed, have south-facing aspects, ensuite bathrooms and a kitchenette, and include private hot tubs, BBQs and hammocks. One safari lodge sleeps up to 10 in five rooms. In total the on-site accommodation sleeps 22 and is complemented by space for up to 50 tents in the field.
For celebrations, guests can use the clubhouse and its large lawn, and there is parking for up to 80 cars. The site can support a large marquee and extra toilet facilities if required. Outdoor space includes a pond area with firepit. The venue accommodates gatherings of about 22–100 people, with flexibility for larger groups by arrangement. The Chilterns View sits amid open views over the Chiltern Hills, with wide skies and countryside horizons forming a backdrop for long-day celebrations.
