About The Ravenswood
The Ravenswood is a beautiful 15th Century wedding venue in Sharpthorne, West Sussex, licensed for indoor or outdoor ceremonies. Our comprehensive packages include lots for you, leaving you with less to think about when you book! Getting Ready Room, drinks, catering and honeymoon suite... We've got you covered!
We have 3 function rooms for use during the different parts of your day; The Princess Beatrice Suite, The Jacobean Suite and The Baronial Hall. These seat up to 150 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 300 guests for your evening reception. Prefer an outdoor ceremony? We also have the renowned 'Little Castle' which seats up to 150 guests for the perfect al fresco set up!
With views across the 18 acres of private grounds and four lakes, this really is the perfect place for your special day. Photography features have been set up throughout the grounds and inside to ensure you have plenty of places to capture stunning wedding photos. These include the Little Castle, The Secret Garden, The Ruins, The Boat House, The Birdcage, not to mention the iconic trees, seasonal flowers and wild lawns. Inside we have the fire place and stunning staircase as well as the balcony which is great for your photographer to get those aerial group photographs!

Yes we are licensed for civil ceremonies!
We have a number of options for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. Our 'Little Castle' is the perfect spot for your outdoor ceremony and can seat up to 150 guests.
You have access to The Getting Ready Room from 8am and access to decorate rooms from 9am on the day of your wedding!
We have an amazing in-house catering team providing top quality food for the day of your wedding. Due to this, we do not allow external caterers for your wedding breakfast however we do allow you to have food trucks on the premises on the evening of your special day.
Yes, we have a stunning honeymoon suite at the venue! Even better... This is included for you in your package!
Yes we have 34 rooms onsite and can sleep up to 75 guests.
If you choose not to stay in our on-site accommodation, or if you need further accommodation, there are a number of local options.
