Hotels are one of the top choices for couples in Cardiff , and it’s easy to see why. Hotel wedding venues feature lots of top quality facilities, often priding themselves on luxurious guest rooms, on-site catering and plenty of expert staff on hand to help make your dream day a reality. Hotel weddings are suitable for any couple, whether they are hoping for their wedding in an urban or rural environment.

Plenty of hotels in Cardiff offer easily customisable wedding packages to make wedding planning as easy as possible. Hotels often have a professional wedding planner, who will be your point of contact from the date you put down your deposit until the day itself, where they'll help to coordinate your wedding day. Another perk to having a hotel wedding is that your guests can head up to their bedrooms after dancing the night away only to meet you for a delightful breakfast the following day.

Having your wedding at a hotel is the perfect idea for you if:

  • You're getting married abroad so have lots of guests that need to stay the night or two.
  • You want all of your catering done in-house.
  • Large function rooms are required to fit a high number of guests in.
  • You want to easily provide your guests with bedrooms.
  • You want a wedding coordinator to help plan your wedding.

This also means that you’re less likely to encounter other guests on your day, if you don’t already have an exclusive use booking.

There's often less that 100 guests rooms in a boutique hotel, and have unique, stylish decor. These types of hotels are often located in an urban environment, so if you’re marrying in the city and want your guests to have super chic accommodation, then a boutique hotel is a great choice.

Large hotels can have hundreds of rooms, so if you’re having a big wedding day with plenty of guests, then you may find that a big hotel will suit you. Large hotels often have more wedding day spaces to choose from, such as outdoor marquees, ballrooms or purpose-built wedding day suites, and are a good choice for Asian wedding days in particular.
