While registrars handle the legal paperwork for your marriage, a celebrant focuses entirely on creating a unique, personalized ceremony that’s all about you. Celebrants have the flexibility to include your love story, special traditions, meaningful rituals, or even a touch of humor! Plus, you can hold your ceremony anywhere and at any time. With a celebrant, your day is all about celebrating your way—beautiful, bespoke, and unforgettable!
An independent celebrant differs from a humanist celebrant in that they are not bound by any specific belief system, giving you complete freedom to shape your ceremony in whatever way feels right for you. While a humanist celebrant is required to create a fully non-religious ceremony with no spiritual or faith-based elements, an independent celebrant can include — or leave out — anything you choose, from symbolic rituals and personal vows to religious readings, blessings, or cultural traditions.
My prices start from £800 and include crafting a beautiful, bespoke ceremony A ceremony rehearsal, A beautiful copy of your Ceremony Script. Beautiful personalised vow booklets. A certificate for you to sign during the ceremony. The use of a large portable speaker and a microphone, if needed. Also my travel costs are included and I never charge extra for evenings, weekends or bank holidays.

Absolutely, I am on hand to help and will print them out in beautiful personalised booklets for to read from during the ceremony.

Yes! I love meeting up with my couples and getting to know them, of course if you are out of the country or its easier for you both we can meet via Zoom.
As soon as you book your venue! However I often have couples contact me after they have everything planned and realise they want something more than the basic registrar led ceremony,
Unfortunately I am unable to perform a legally binding ceremony, but don't worry there is a way around this.. You go to your local registry office and book the statutory marriage ceremony that allows you to have two witnesss and cost around £47 depending on where you live in the UK.
