No matter what kind of ceremony you are planning, together we'll create a celebration that is totally fitting for the occasion. No matter who you are, who you love, your beliefs or needs, from a simple exchange of vows and rings to a more symbolic ceremony, I’ll help you every step of the way, creating and writing and delivering a bespoke ceremony. Did you know, once the legal aspect of your marriage or civil partnership has been attended to, you are free to design your wedding ceremony? I’m on hand to help you tell your story, fine tune all ceremony related proceedings, and help make your big day as memorable as possible – for all the right reasons!
Quite frankly, with a celebrant-led ceremony there are no rules. You can choose any special location. You can also lead the way for the tone and style that suits you and your personalities.
From a simple exchange of vows and rings to a more symbolic ceremony including poems, readings, music, and rituals, I’ll help you every step of the way, creating and writing a truly personal, memorable and one-of-a-kind wedding ceremony, just for you.
All you need to do is complete your legal registration of marriage in advance of your wedding day celebrations. You can do this in what’s called a simple 2+2 Ceremony at the Register Office.
These are really popular with couples and allow you to have the memory making wedding ceremony of your dreams with a celebrant like me, without all the legal stuff to stress about. Simply leave the legal stuff to the legal people!

It’s where you and your partner attend the Register Office with two witnesses - your favourite people - make the basic statutory legal declarations and sign your marriage certificate.
Then I'll be honoured and able to announce your marriage on your wedding day, at the venue of your choice, as part of a totally bespoke and personal wedding ceremony – Hurray!
And, while 2+2 ceremonies aren’t widely advertised by venues or Register Offices it is your statutory right to ask for and have one if you wish, AND your venue absolutely won’t mind what you have. They will be thrilled to host you either way!

I can’t legally marry you. My couples and their two witnesses head to the Register Office in advance of their Wedding Day for a simple 2+2 ceremony, usually followed by a nice lunch! There you make the statutory declarations and sign your marriage certificate. Then I will be able and honoured to announce you as married on your Wedding Day in front of your friends and family in a celebratory ceremony – one that really stands out from any other, with truly personal and memorable moments! Hurray!
As an independent celebrant, quite literally, anything goes! My couples can include multi-faith rituals, readings, hymns and prayers, music, and even alcohol in their ceremonies - all of which prove very popular, as so inclusive of everyone's needs! It may also be reassuring to know that I am trained and certified by the International College of Professional Celebrants and fully insured.
My prices start at £695 for 2024 wedding ceremonies. We'll have so much fun getting to know each other with calls and venue recces, so I can create and fine tune your wedding ceremony. My mission is to make sure your wedding ceremony reflects you, your personalities and wishes perfectly. There are no rules with a celebrant led wedding ceremony, so it's entirely up to you what you'd like to include! Symbolic wedding rituals like a handfasting, unity candle, Quaich, jump the broom, and music, dance, alcohol? Anything goes - and we can have lots of fun creating and personalising your ceremony so it's totally bespoke to you.

In an ideal world, yes! But I am a happy traveller, so if you are located far away and your wedding ceremony will also need me to put in some mileage, then that's not a problem. We can always rely on Zoom to build our relationships - a little like online dating!
I have turned around wedding ceremonies in six weeks from Booking Form to the Bride's entrance, so there is no limit here. I am busy though, so if you want me with you on your wedding day (I hope so!) best to let me know the date you have in mind as soon as possible so I can check availability and pencil it in in the diary for you. Exciting!
