About The Crazy Bear
Crazy Bear Stadhampton in Oxfordshire combines a hotel, restaurant and weddings business into a single setting where couples can plan both their ceremony and reception. Civil ceremonies take place in dedicated licensed spaces. The venue’s Glasshouse opens onto a private terrace, and manicured grounds extend beyond for use during your day, offering a variety of areas for drinks, photos and social time outside the formal rooms.
Couples can choose exclusive use of the entire hotel for their wedding, meaning the ceremony spaces, terraces, gardens and guest bedrooms are reserved solely for their group. This layout can support celebrations ranging from smaller gatherings to larger parties across indoor and outdoor areas.
On the day, the exclusive use format allows a continuous flow from the point you arrive through to the reception and evening, keeping ceremony, meal and celebration all within the same estate. Menus for weddings are tailored to individual preferences, with in-house cuisine drawn from both English and Thai influences, arranged to suit the sequence of your wedding meal. For many weddings the combination of different indoor rooms, private terrace and surrounding gardens creates varied settings without requiring travel between locations.
