Sustainability & Craftsmanship The wedding albums offered by David Bostock Photography are handcrafted by Queensberry, a family-run company based in New Zealand and renowned worldwide for the quality of its albums. Queensberry shares a belief that beautiful products should be made thoughtfully and responsibly. New Zealand has a strong commitment to renewable energy and environmental protection, and Queensberry reflects those values in the way it sources materials, manages production and creates albums designed to last for generations. At the heart of the company is a close-knit team of skilled craftspeople, many of whom have worked together for decades. Each album is individually made by hand using carefully selected materials, combining traditional craftsmanship with exceptional attention to detail. It is one of the reasons Queensberry albums have been an important part of David Bostock Photography for many years. Thoughtfully Sourced Materials Queensberry works with established suppliers who share its commitment to quality and responsible production. Its leathers are sourced from respected European suppliers selected for both the quality of their materials and their animal-welfare standards. For couples who prefer a leather-free alternative, Queensberry also offers micro leather produced without heavy metals or formaldehyde. Waste is carefully managed throughout the manufacturing process. Materials are recycled wherever practical, including silver recovered from photographic processing, while leather and paper offcuts can be repurposed rather than simply discarded. Packaging is also designed with environmental impact in mind, with recycled, recyclable and compostable materials used wherever possible. Made to Last Perhaps the most important aspect of sustainability is longevity. A Queensberry album isn't intended to be replaced after a few years. It is designed and handcrafted to preserve your wedding photographs for decades
