Rural bliss in your wedding vision?
Lincolnshire is known for its flat, agricultural landscapes as well as being the birthplace of Sir Issac Newton. The rural landscape in this county is perfect for rustic weddings in venues such as barns or marquees. One of our favourite barn venues in Lincolnshire is The Granary. This Boston wedding venue is located on a farm and has amazing gardens to enjoy. Hall Farm Hotel is a great option if you want to escape to a rural retreat.
A grand wedding entrance on the cards?
Aside from the landscape in the country the city Lincoln has beautiful, historical architecture including Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle which holds one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta. A winter wedding in Lincoln would be absolutely stunning, with snowy rooftops and breathtaking buildings it looks like the perfect Christmas card setting. There are some amazing country homes around Lincolnshire such as Doddington Hall and there are also some cosy hotel venues with amazing food and incredible atmosphere!

Lincolnshire has a long coastline beside the North Sea in the East and even has a seal sanctuary at Donna Nook where over 2,000 seal pups are born each year. Skegness is the main seaside town and Cleethorpes is a family favourite too! These towns have some great photography backdrops such as their piers and seafront amusements. Plus, if all of the exploring becomes too much there are some great spa venues for you to enjoy nearby.
