About Wasing Park

Wasing Park is exclusively yours and encompasses everything to bring the wedding of your dreams to life. In a quintessentially English setting, full of sophistication and elegance, is the lovingly restored traditional farm hamlet of Wasing; an award-winning wedding venue where sustainability meets luxury for the ultimate celebration.

Wasing Park offers three beautiful ceremony spaces, each providing a picturesque setting for your special day. The Victorian Summerhouse is a romantic outdoor space surrounded by nature, featuring a hand-painted mural and accommodating up to 160 guests. The Parish Church of St Nicholas, a charming 13th-century church with stained-glass windows and a sunlit altar, offers a timeless backdrop for traditional ceremonies of up to 120 guests. The Garden Room offers civil ceremonies for up to 160, with rustic oak beams, aged brickwork and glass bi-fold doors opening onto the gardens.

At the heart of the venue, the magnificent Castle Barn provides a characterful blank canvas with red brick walls, oak beams and arrow slits. With a built-in stage and excellent acoustics, it is an unforgettable reception space. Outside, a stretch tent, terrace and outdoor kitchen allow for year-round al fresco dining, where chefs prepare dishes over a fire pit and wood-fired oven.

Enjoy Wasing’s estate-to-plate wedding breakfast, showcasing sustainable nose-to-tail beef menus from the Estate’s organic farm and locally sourced cuisine. The venue caters for up to 160 dining guests and 250 evening guests, with celebrations continuing in the Stables Lodge, a cosy post-party bar.

The venue offers 26 stylish bedrooms sleeping 64 guests, each uniquely designed. Highlights include the Honeymoon Suite with Berkshire’s biggest bed, The Granary with copper bathtub, The Smithy, and the magical Dovecote. Additional accommodation includes the Bridal Cottage for the night before and a Groom’s Room for wedding morning preparations.

You can reserve exclusive access to Wasing’s secluded woodland lake, offering a peaceful escape with bespoke wellbeing experiences including wild swimming, a Scandinavian wood-fired sauna, ice baths and massage therapy.

Wasing Park offers bespoke 2–3 day wedding experiences, allowing you to enjoy extended celebrations and activities across the estate.

Our Sustainability Commitments

What if your wedding day could be everything you’ve dreamed of and kind to the planet? At Wasing, we believe that what harms the planet also harms us, so we prioritise sustainability across Wasing Park and the wider estate. Wasing’s biomass boiler provides all hot water and heating for the venue, including all 26 bedrooms and underfloor heating in the Castle Barn. The woodchip fuel is produced on the Estate as part of Wasing’s forestry programme. All food waste is processed through a Ridan composter, creating nutrient-rich compost for the gardens while reducing landfill, transport and greenhouse gas emissions. Wasing Park prides itself on homegrown and foraged produce, from apples for juice, blackberries for jam, herbs and honey, to beeswax candles. Estate botanicals are also used in Wasing’s award-winning Gin and Vodka. From Estate to Plate, Wasing’s nose-to-tail menus offer beef from its herd of grass-fed, organic red Sussex cattle. These happy, healthy animals produce exceptional-quality meat while playing an important role in the farm’s regenerative organic system, returning nutrients to the soil. Wasing’s own cut flower garden supplies local florists, who can create beautiful bouquets and arrangements using seasonal, homegrown flowers, reducing the carbon footprint associated with imported blooms. Conservation is central to life at Wasing. Over 200 acres of land are dedicated to Countryside Stewardship, supporting pollinators and wildlife year-round. Hedgerows and woodlands are carefully managed to enhance habitats, and Wasing helps protect a Site of Special Scientific Interest, creating environments that support rare species, including dragonflies. Converted to organic farming in 2018, the Estate focuses on regenerating soils, ecosystems and biodiversity. Together, Wasing’s farm and woodlands sequester over 1,700 tonnes of carbon, helping protect the future for generations to come.
