There are many beautiful towns such as Matlock Baths, Bakewell and Buxton as well as some famous trails up Mam Tor and Kinder Scout. With Derbyshire’s romantic landscapes it is not surprising that it was the home of Mr Darcy, the love interest in Jane Austen’s widely read romance novel Pride and Prejudice.
