Can we have exclusive use of the venue?
Yes, all weddings and events are held on an exclusive use basis.
Are you licensed for civil ceremonies?
Yes, Talhenbont Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies.
Can we have the wedding ceremony outdoors?
Yes, you can enjoy your wedding ceremony outside at Talhenbont Hall.
Do you charge corkage if we supply our own wine?
This option is not available.
Can we use our own caterers?
We work exclusively with Cheeky Chilli Events Catering for your day reception. We do permit you to organise an outside caterer such as a hog roast / pizza-van for the evening food only.
From what time can we get access to decorate the venue?
The day prior to the wedding.You can arrive at the Hall any time from 3pm the day prior to your wedding subject to the accommodation charge only.
What time does the reception need to finish?
Midnight. To conform with our Premises Licence for consideration for nearby residents, guests that aren’t staying on the Estate must depart for 00:30am.
Are there noise restrictions if we have a live band?
Live music to finish by 11pm but disco and pre recorded until midnight.
Are fireworks allowed?
Yes, We do permit fireworks, please speak with a member of the team for supplier recommendations.
Is confetti allowed?
Yes! Please ensure the confetti is biodegradable.
Are candles allowed?

Is there a honeymoon or bridal suite?
Yes, we have a honeymoon suite here at Talhenbont Hall.
Is there accommodation on site?
Yes, we have a number of beautiful rooms for 42 guests to stay.
Is there additional accommodation nearby?
Yes, for guests that aren't staying, there is additional accommodation nearby.
Are you Dog friendly?
We are dog friendly and appreciate that your canine pals enjoy a good time too! We ask that whilst in the grounds, dogs are kept on a lead due our resident peacocks.
Is breakfast provided?
A complimentary breakfast hamper is provided for guests staying in the Main Hall. You are welcome to organise additional breakfast hampers for guests staying in the Cottages.
How long can you provisionally hold a date for us?
We can hold a provisional booking for 7 days following the issue of your booking documents and nonrefundable deposit invoice. Confirmed once we have received your signed booking contract
What deposit do I have to pay when I confirm a date?
The deposit is £2,000.00, as well as a £1,000.00 payable to our caterers Cheeky Chilli Events. Total £3,000.00.
Which room would we have our Civil Wedding Ceremony in?
Your Civil Ceremony can be held in either the Hall, The Coach House, or Outside on our Terrace.

This gorgeous manor house is ideal for Welsh & Cheshire based couples and will be available for exclusive use for your wedding day.
The whole estate is available exclusively for you to use up to 3 days. You have the choice of a 1 day/1 night option. Alternatively, you can stay for 2 days/2 nights, arriving on the eve of your wedding and having the estate until the afternoon following your wedding. What could be better? You and your guests enjoying the celebrations over 3 days.
Our award winning caterers can provide dinner on the night before your big day as well as breakfasts for your guests….making the most of your wedding celebrations.
At Talhenbont Hall our Mandarin Summer House you can choose to have a massage or other beauty treatment of your choice to help you totally relax and de stress before your big day, you will feel truly pampered in serene surroundings with only the sounds of nature.
The Coach House can accommodate up to 150 guests for the wedding breakfast. It is a beautifully renovated Coach House which oozes character and history. The rear of the Coach House features an outdoor terrace with magical views and a fire pit which is fabulous for the evening. For weddings larger than 150 guests, there is plenty of space within the stunning grounds to erect a marquee. The front lawn in front of the house provides the perfect setting for this. For a simply stunning outdoor ceremony, our pagoda overlooks the River Dwyfach. It's a simply breathtaking place to exchange your vows.
